The Journey Home is a 16-bed women’s facility specializing in the treatment of substance and alcohol use disorders, as well as other co-occurring disorders.

We seek to provide individualized services to meet the sensitive needs of women seeking long-term recovery.

Our staff is a multidisciplinary team who is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care. We strive to create an environment that is not only conducive to the recovery process, but one where residents feel at home.

The Journey Home is located in Denham Springs, Louisiana, 5 miles east of Baton Rouge. Our facility sits on a five acre setting with beautifully manicured grounds. 

The Journey Home was created on the foundation that women must be empowered in order to have positive results in recovery. This facility was specifically designed to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment needed to do so.

The Journey Home provides intensive therapeutic care for women with addiction and non-acute co-occurring disorders. Our program includes but is not limited to individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, nutritional counseling and wellness for:
