Healing Transitions (Formerly The Healing Place of Wake County) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that provides non-medical detox, long-term recovery programming, emergency shelter, and support services for individuals experiencing homelessness in Wake County, NC.

Our mission is to offer innovative peer-based, recovery-oriented services to homeless, uninsured and underserved individuals with alcoholism and other drug addictions. Our program is specifically designed to rekindle a person’s desire and ability to return to a meaningful and productive life.
