Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH) is a mid-sized nonprofit based in Rockville, Maryland, dedicated to ending homelessness in Montgomery County. It operates ten programs—three emergency services for individuals currently experiencing homelessness and eight permanent supportive housing programs for those exiting homelessness—and it oversees Coalition Homes, Inc., its affiliate that develops and manages permanent housing. Collectively, MCCH and Coalition Homes serve more than 1,600 men, women, and children each year. Coalition Homes owns and manages 140 units of permanent housing for formerly homeless individuals and families. In 2023, MCCH relocated its offices to a new Rockville location and launched the 30X30 challenge to encourage local involvement in supporting the homeless community.
