D R E A M S  M A T T E R .  Everyone's Dreams Matter. Mi Work Matter's mission is to create and sustain meaningful, competitive employment opportunities for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in southeast Michigan.

We do this by empowering individuals with I/DD, and  supporting our community and employers in creating inclusive jobs that provide value to their organizations; we achieve this through cohesive employment programs and partnerships. Mi Work Matters’ activities include grassroots advocacy, education, outreach and directly employing people with I/DD at our award winning, inclusive business – Anastasia and Katie’s Coffee Shop & Cafe in Livonia, Michigan.

Mi Work Matters' launched Anastasia and Katie's Coffee Shop and Cafe in December of 2019. Located in Livonia Michigan, it is a welcoming place for inclusive employment and on the job training. Learn more at AnastasiaAndKatiesCoffee.com

Mi Work Matters' also started the  Employment Ambassadors program. This project has been made possible through a Self Advocate Employment Initiative grant from the Global Down Syndrome Foundation. Learn more at https://www.miworkmatters.org/employment-ambassadors.
