Mi Work Matter's mission is to create and sustain meaningful, competitive employment opportunities for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in southeast Michigan. We do this by empowering individuals with I/DD, and supporting our community and employers in creating inclusive jobs that provide value to their organizations; we achieve this through cohesive employment programs and partnerships. Mi Work Matters’ activities include grassroots advocacy, education, outreach and directly employing people with I/DD at our award winning, inclusive business – Anastasia and Katie’s Coffee Shop & Cafe in Livonia, Michigan. Mi Work Matters' launched Anastasia and Katie's Coffee Shop and Cafe in December of 2019. Located in Livonia Michigan, it is a welcoming place for inclusive employment and on the job training.
