Windunie is a cooperative uniting more than 225 wind turbine owners and wind farms. Together, its members form the largest onshore wind energy supplier in the Netherlands. For nearly fifteen years, it has arranged electricity contracts and advocated for the interests of wind turbine operators and wind parks. To maintain its activities, the cooperative has established affiliated companies and a network of professionals delivering advisory, project development, electricity trading, asset management, and lobbying services. The organization is based in Utrecht, in the Utrecht region of the Netherlands. It operates its own wind-energy label, Winduniestroom, produced by its members and delivered to households through Greenchoice, and in February 2022 announced a strategic collaboration with Petrofac Training Services to strengthen project execution.
