Western AgCredit is a member-owned cooperative within the Farm Credit System that provides financially related services to agriculture. It operates through two affiliated entities, Western AgCredit, FLCA and Western AgCredit, PCA, collectively known as the Association, and offers financing for real estate, livestock, equipment, and operating expenses with loan maturities ranging from three months to 30 years. Based in Tremonton, Utah, the organization serves customers in Utah and portions of Wyoming, Nevada, and Arizona. As an independent cooperative owned by its borrower-members, Western AgCredit is governed by a Board of Directors elected from among member-borrowers, with two outside directors also serving. Its customer base includes farmers, ranchers, nursery and greenhouse operators, forest products businesses, part-time farmers, and other agribusinesses seeking capital and related financial services. The Farm Credit System, established in 1916, provides the historical framework for its operations.
