Based in Cleveland, Northeast Ohio, The Center for Health Affairs is a nonprofit organization with a history dating to 1916 as the nation’s first regional hospital association. Now operating as WellLink Health Alliance, it coordinates advocacy, education, group purchasing, and community impact under a single framework. It convenes 37 hospitals and healthcare organizations with community partners across 10 counties in Northeast Ohio to advance total well-being by connecting health, economic, and social resources. The organization serves hospitals, businesses, and communities, helping them collaborate to address health needs and improve access to care. In 2025 it launched WellLink on July 1, and in September of the same year formed partnerships with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and Catholic Charities Diocese of Cleveland to present a poverty-focused event titled 'Lived-Experience Exercise: A Transformative Encounter with Poverty'.
