Village Missions is a religious institution based in Dallas, Oregon, United States, with 51-200 employees and a website at villagemissions.org. Since 1948, it has sent Village Missionaries to rural communities across the United States and Canada to support churches with limited Gospel witness. The organization provides missionary pastors and supplements the congregation's salary and health benefits as the church grows. Village Missionaries are described as shepherds who build relationships with people of all ages and often participate in broader community roles such as fire departments, schools, athletics, hospitals, music, and farms. The program currently serves more than 200 communities across the United States and Canada and offers opportunities including full-time Village Missionary positions, a one-year residency, and interim pastor roles. Additional information and training resources are available on the organization's website, including the Contenders Discipleship Initiative.
