Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation is an independent nonprofit based in Reno, Nevada, focused on supporting parks throughout the Truckee Meadows region, including Washoe County and the cities of Reno and Sparks. Founded in 2012 by local residents concerned about the economic impact on parks, it works toward the long-term sustainability and improvement of these public spaces through in-park programming, fundraising, and opportunities for citizen engagement. In December 2024, the Trails Challenge was launched to broaden access for hikers of all abilities. The foundation operates with a small team to deliver programming, fundraising, and community engagement for park improvements and wider resident access in the Truckee Meadows.
