Located on Amsterdam Avenue between 93rd and 94th Streets, the organization serves low- and moderate-income youth and families, aiming to address barriers to quality education and economic opportunity by fostering access to resources and support within an extended family-like community. The programmatic footprint includes six days of activities each week, assisting more than 500 families annually and sustaining daily engagement for hundreds of children, youth, and families in the region. In January 2023, The West Side Commons expanded its reach through a partnership with West Side Rag LLC, extending its educational programs to additional elementary and middle school students.
