The SOLD Project is preventing child prostitution before it begins. We believe it isn't enough to expose the issue of human trafficking and child prostitution--that it isn't enough to raise awareness about the horrors of modern-day slavery and evoke an emotional reaction from concerned global citizens. And we believe the heroic efforts of many organizations to rescue and rehabilitate women and children caught in today's slave trade, although very necessary and extremely valuable, fall short of a long-term solution. There is a solution, and that solution lies in Prevention through Education. The SOLD Project is attacking the root causes of child prostitution at their core by proactively protecting those who are most vulnerable...before they are exploited. Our mission is to prevent child prostitution through culturally relevant programs for vulnerable children and to share their stories to empower creative, compassionate people to act. Sex sells.
