The company was founded by veteran digital entrepreneurs Rob Dwek and Mike McGraw, who bring a deep network and extensive experience in digital content creation, social media, technology and brand integration to the venture. Through their unique experience and vision, Social Channel is at the forefront of monetizing unexploited sports content including live streaming, highlights, archives and social content with leagues, athletes and events.
Most recently, the company partnered on a groundbreaking initiative with the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), the largest global women’s sport. The Social Channel, with the WTA created WTA Networks, which now houses the league’s entire digital ecosystem. The Social Channel is further expanding this successful social sport content model to other leagues and sports organizations around the globe.
