The Lux Collective is a Mauritian-based global operator in the hospitality industry, overseeing both its own luxury brands and properties managed on behalf of other owners. The company emphasizes a people-first approach, guided by values of passion, responsibility and innovation, and it highlights collaboration among employees, stakeholders, vendors and partners to deliver guest experiences. Based in Trianon, in the Plaines Wilhems district of Mauritius, the group employs hundreds of hospitality professionals and runs a global portfolio of hotels and managed properties.

In June 2026, The Lux Collective announced expansion into Eastern Africa with the launch of two Rwanda properties—LUX* Lake Kivu and SALT of Akagera—marking the brand's debut in the Rwanda Tourism Circuit. This move illustrates the firm's ongoing strategy to grow its footprint by operating its own brands and managing additional properties in new markets.
