The Empty Stocking Fund, Inc. is a southwest Atlanta nonprofit that supports metro-area families with children living in poverty by providing holiday gifts and year-round school supplies. It purchases brand-new items through wholesale channels to offer a range of age- and gender-appropriate options, and in December runs Santa’s Village where eligible parents select gifts for their children up to 18 years old.

Beyond gifts, the organization funds classroom resources for Atlanta’s Title I schools by distributing core supplies through the Student Supply Kit program and enabling teachers to acquire materials through the Free Teacher Store at no cost. This work reduces financial barriers for families and educators while supporting equitable learning environments. The organization has engaged in collaborations with other local groups, including a 2022 partnership with The Salvation Army to support Christmas gift programs.
