The Culver Studios, based in Culver City, California, is an independent film and television studio with a history dating back to 1918. It operates a large production campus that combines preserved historic structures with modern facilities to support contemporary entertainment production. The site comprises a 720,850-square-foot campus that includes the Mansion and bungalows, five new buildings totaling 554,000 square feet, two parking structures with 1,930 spaces, six stages totaling 92,000 square feet, and 7,000 square feet of stage support space, along with 619,850 square feet of creative office and production support space.

The studio has hosted landmark productions such as Gone with the Wind, Citizen Kane, and E.T. It is a mid-sized player within its industry, and since 2014 it has been undergoing modernization under Hackman Capital Partners, with Phase 2 of an Innovation Plan to expand and modernize the lot while preserving its historic structures. The transformation is described as creating a next-generation campus for Amazon Studios and its related content affiliates.
