SUM Bible College & Theological Seminary is a higher education institution based in El Dorado Hills, California, focused on preparing indigenous Christian leaders from America and other nations. The college combines academic study with practical ministry experience and personal mentorship, aiming to provide affordable theological education that supports leaders in applying their training within their communities. The organization emphasizes a shared commitment to its Statement of Faith and to the mission of equipping individuals to enact change in their contexts, with all faculty and staff aligned to the institution’s vision and values. The school is accredited by the Association of Biblical Higher Education, situating it within the faith-based higher education sector and signaling adherence to established standards. A notable recent development is the launch of the Broadcasting Network of Theological Studies several years ago, which extends access to theological education through online platforms. SUM operates within a networked environment designed to connect former students and staff with ministry opportunities while continuing to recruit new personnel for its growing programs.
