St. Joseph's School for the Blind is a Jersey City–based educational institution serving students with visual impairment or multiple disabilities. It offers a continuum of programs from birth through adulthood, including an Early Intervention program for infants and toddlers that uses educational teams to support development in natural settings. In response to growing needs, the school recently added an Adult Services program—a day habilitation track that focuses on building independence through life skills, personal care, meal planning, and budgeting. The school serves as a primary and secondary education provider for the local community, including a pre-school component for 3-year-old children in Jersey City. In July 2025, Tamira Chapman was appointed as principal, bringing extensive experience in educational administration at local and state levels.
