Located only a mile from the Austin Convention Center and walking distance from some of the city’s most iconic venues, South congress lends itself to a variety of groups and events. The event space at South Congress Hotel features a versatile indoor and outdoor space, courtyards, gardens, and pre-function room that can accommodate private events for up to 450 guests. 

South Congress Hotel's food and beverage outlets include Café No Sé, MICHELIN Recommended Maie Day, Mañana Coffee & Bakeshop, Otoko, Watertrade and the award winning SCH Lobby Bar.

Designed to blend into its surroundings, the inspiration behind South Congress Hotel was to build more than just a great hotel, but to expand upon the sense of place defined by South Congress and South Austin. South Congress Hotel is locally designed and draws upon a combination of California-inspired elements, mid-century features, and Brazilian Modernism. All guestrooms and suites include furniture and textiles by Studio MAI – a combination of new, vintage, and found pieces that were custom designed and fabricated or sourced from around the world.
