Sojitz Tech-Innovation Co., Ltd. is an IT services and IT consulting firm headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, with a mid-sized workforce. It traces its roots to Nissho Electronics Corporation, founded in 1969, which expanded its offerings by importing innovative solutions from U.S. venture companies beginning in 1988. Historically, Nissho Electronics helped pioneer technologies in Japan, including the early use of computer output microfilm, the deployment of dense wavelength division multiplexing systems, and the establishment of a VoIP-based IP telephony business. In recent years, the company has concentrated on network infrastructure and ICT solutions, developing strengths in virtualization, cloud computing, and data center services. It serves customers seeking advanced IT infrastructure and digital services, and in 2021 it partnered with Nethone to offer AI- and biometrics-based online security for the Japanese ecommerce market.
