In 2006, Yonkers native Derek Kurtz brought his nine years of apparel and promotional industry knowledge back home to join forces with his longtime friend, mentor and twenty year Yonkers business owner, Joel Iskowitz, to form Smooth USA. Since then another long-time friend and fellow entrepreneur Lisa Clarizio has joined them.
