Since 1995, the Shoreline Center for Eating Disorder Treatment has been successfully helping individuals achieve eating disorder recovery. We offer personalized, compassionate and integrated treatment from a multidisciplinary staff of eating disorder specialists, including therapists, dietitians and physicians. Shoreline has two locations: Long Beach and our newest location Mission Viejo.

Our mission is to help individuals find that place deep inside that wishes to break free from debilitating, self imposed rules and obsessions of eating disorders, and to live a happy, healthy and spontaneous life. Many times, however, when a person arrives at Shoreline, they do not exactly know what they want to achieve. Therefore, part of what we do is to help individuals imagine what recovery could look like. Some people have been living with their eating disorder for so long that they cannot imagine their life or identity without it. We have seen numerous individuals over the years go from hopeless and rigid to balanced and optimistic.

Individual therapy entails meeting with an eating disorder clinician and a registered dietitian. Our Intensive Outpatient Program involves 14-24 hours of treatment per week and includes a meal and a snack. Our Day Treatment/Partial Hospital Program meets Monday through Saturday for 6-8 hours each day. 
 Satori House is a 6-bed residential home in Long Beach, California, just steps from the waters edge for women age 16 and up. Each clients individual needs are tended to, including 24 hour a day supervision and medical monitoring. Satori House Residential Treatment provides a safe, supervised and recovery minded environment where residents learn to incorporate recovery skills into their lives.
