The Secular Student Alliance is a nonprofit educational organization based in Los Angeles, California. It operates as a national network that coordinates efforts to organize and support nonreligious students and campus groups across the United States, supported by a modest staff. Its mission centers on helping secular students express their identity, build welcoming communities, promote secular values, and pursue lifelong activism.

The organization provides resources and programs to campus affiliates and individual students, including literature, outreach materials, group-running guides, hands-on assistance, and support for events and speakers. It offers travel grants and discounted rates for large events through collaborations with other national nonreligious organizations, and it runs regional summits and a national conference for leadership training. In 2026, a partnership with the New Jersey Humanist Network was announced to sponsor a $1,000 scholarship for a New Jersey student attending higher education in the fall.
