The Scarlett Family Foundation is a Nashville-based philanthropic organization focused on education, best known for providing merit and need-based college scholarships to Middle Tennessee students pursuing business degrees. It was established in 2005 by Joe and Dorothy Scarlett with the involvement of their children to translate their belief in education's transformative power into action. Over time, the foundation expanded into grant-making, partnering with nonprofit organizations to advance educational opportunity in the region, with four main initiatives guiding its grants: college and career readiness, principal and teacher leadership, high-quality schools, and advocacy.

In 2015, the scholarship program broadened to include STEM majors, expanding the academic pathways it supports. Since 2006, the foundation has awarded more than $19 million in scholarships to over 700 students attending public and private colleges and universities across the United States, drawn from 148 high schools in 37 Middle Tennessee counties. The organization also maintains district-focused resources for Metro Nashville Public Schools, including updated District Data Pages and Cluster Profiles, reflecting its commitment to data-informed educational work; it operates as a small foundation servicing the Nashville area and broader Middle Tennessee.
