Founded in 1975, SASi, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that supports individuals with physical and mental challenges through a range of programs designed to promote meaningful lives and greater independence. It has grown from a small community agency to one of the largest service providers in Western New York. Its offerings include employment training and placement, clinical and habilitation services, twenty-four hour residential care facilities, service coordination, recreation, and therapeutic horsemanship. In winter 2004, SASi moved its administrative offices to Elma, New York, where the corporate headquarters also houses a modern Article 16 Clinic and Day Habilitation Center.
