Port of Tyne is a major deep-sea port based in South Shields, in the North East of England, offering a range of cargo and passenger services. It provides tailored solutions for the green energy sector, supports the automotive transition, handles specialized bulk and containerised goods, and operates the International Passenger Terminal to accommodate growing passenger numbers. As one of the UK's largest trust ports, it is self-financing and operates on a commercial basis, reinvesting profits into facilities along the River Tyne for regional benefit.
