Piedmont East Bay Children's Choir is a youth-focused choral organization based in Oakland, in the Bay Area. It serves more than 350 children and youths annually, aged 5 to 19, drawn from 23 communities in the region, offering structured vocal training, ensemble singing, community performances, summer camp intensives, and opportunities for national and international touring. Every three years the organization hosts the Golden Gate International Choral Festival, which brings together youth choirs from around the world and is described as the only festival of its kind in the United States. In the international choral community, PEBCC is recognized for commissioning new music and for efforts to elevate composers from historically marginalized communities, with the aim of diversifying both the choir's repertoire and its singers' learning experiences. A leadership development note from 2020 confirms the appointment of Lillian Archer as Executive Director.
