Phoenix Interfaith Counseling was founded in 1973 by Dr. Duane Holloran (with the support of churches and synagogues in the North Phoenix Corporate Ministry) as a private, non-profit counseling service, dedicated to providing high quality, low cost counseling to the Phoenix community. Having begun contracting with the Maricopa County Regional Behavioral Health Authority in the late '70s, Phoenix Interfaith Counseling serves private clients, and the general mental health and seriously mentally ill populations from four sites. Our clinical staff consists of Arizona licensed therapists, master's level therapy residents in training with us, and behavioral health technicians, dedicated to assisting adults and children become the healthiest and highest functioning persons that they can be.
