Philadelphia Cricket Club is a country club and recreational facility in the Philadelphia region, offering a range of sports and social amenities. Founded in 1854, it is described as the oldest country club in the United States and operates on two campuses: the St. Martins Clubhouse in Chestnut Hill, where its main offices are located, and a second site in Whitemarsh Township near Flourtown that features two 18-hole golf courses. The club supports cricket, golf, tennis, paddle tennis, indoor tennis, squash, swimming, and trapshooting, serving members and guests across age groups, and has been recognized as an Emerald Award-winning institution.
It also provides facilities for weddings, corporate events, meetings, fundraisers, and retreats, with function spaces described as featuring original woodwork, crown molding, and views of the golf courses and cricket lawn. Dining is a component of events and everyday experiences, with culinary offerings overseen by Executive Chef Ben Burger.
