PEARLS is a nonprofit organization based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that runs weekly, girls-only gatherings hosted at partner schools and youth-serving organizations. Each group includes about 20 to 25 girls and provides a consistent, safe space for development, with the program addressing root issues tied to poverty, teen pregnancy, violence, and educational attainment during the teen years.

Participants build leadership skills and character traits such as personal responsibility, empathy, awareness, leadership, and respect. The program uses a research-based curriculum and a goal-setting framework to teach girls how to set, pursue, evaluate, and reach tangible goals—skills linked to success in school, work, and life. In addition, PEARLS offers ongoing academic support, community field trips, guest speakers, an annual College Tour, and volunteer Higher Education Coaches as part of its broader activities.
