PastBook offers a platform that helps people preserve and relive their photos by automatically selecting and compiling them into physical products such as photo books, cards, posters, and calendars. It targets individuals who have pictures scattered across social networks and smartphones, providing a streamlined, one-click creation workflow. The system selects the best images from designated sources and assembles them into finished products that are printed and shipped worldwide through a global printing network. PastBook began in 2012 in Amsterdam, emerging from the RockStart Accelerator, and is based in Amsterdam, North Holland. It has earned industry recognition, including Wired naming it one of the hottest startups in Europe and Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 listings. In 2025 it launched an iOS app with AI-assisted photobook creation features offering Google Photos-like organization.
