Our Mission is to recognize, educate, enable and empower parents to take a proactive role in the educational and personal development of their children.

“Parents Step Ahead” program is an organization with the vision of becoming a national effort in setting the standard as the leading program to increase parental involvement in a child’s educational and personal development; with the objective of increasing graduation rates at all levels from elementary to high school and college. We believe parents are the foundation of their children’s future; and to a great extent the key to their success in life.

Through a partnership with school districts in the Dallas/Fort Worth & San Antonio area, corporations and community organizations we offer a series of events consisting of open discussion seminars ranging in topics from: gang awareness, drug use prevention, underage drinking, computer and digital literacy, internet safety to health and financial issues among other topics. At the conclusion of each event, a home computer system is raffled off along with other prizes to eligible parents. By actively engaging the administration from each participating school we ensure the seminar topics are relevant to each audience.
