Parent Revolution is a dynamic and growing non-profit organization.  Our goal is to fundamentally shift the landscape of public education in America by empowering parents, through organizing and collective action, to impact their child’s educational destiny.  We believe transformative change is possible when kids are put first and that organized, empowered parents are the key to putting kids first.  

In its brief history, Parent Revolution has garnered national attention for its groundbreaking work in conceiving of, passing, and implementing California’s landmark Parent Trigger law.  The law provides parents, for the first time ever, real power to transform their child’s failing school.  

Our work has been featured in nearly every national media outlet and now serves as the national model for parent empowerment.  Numerous states have now passed their own Parent Trigger laws, with dozens of other states considering the same.  In multiple Southern California schools, we have helped parents use the law to successfully organize their communities and implement transformative changes at their schools. 

Our work is not done until every child in America has an opportunity for a great education.  We take our children as they come: all children deserve great educational opportunities despite race, zip code, class, nationality, and family/community hardships. 

In the last two years, our organization has more than quadrupled in size and is continuing a trajectory of rapid growth, due in large part to our successful track record.  A successful candidate for this position will not only have an excellent track record and skill set, but will also have a strong desire to work with a progressive, collaborative, entrepreneurial, and fearless team.
