Otto Hofstetter AG founded in 1955 and still owned by the family. Our domain is the manufacture of moulds and dies. We develop, design and service injection moulds for the production of PET preforms, all types of thin-walled packaging products, cartridges, tubes and horticulture products. Our moulds enjoy an excellent reputation all over the world. 

Moulds for PET preforms. 
Building on over 30 years of experience, we are constantly refining our methods to guarantee first-class technology that saves energy, time and raw materials. This technology enhances the barrier properties of the preforms and reduces maintenance costs as well as downtimes. The co-injection technique, a Hofstetter development, allows all the advantages of multi-layer moulding to be combined for maximum effect. 

Moulds for Plastic Packaging. 
Our thin-wall technology offers major advantages in the production of packaging articles – be it for foodstuffs, catering or hygiene products, paints, oils or delicate and light-sensitive products. We are the first to bring barrier injection moulding to maturity in the plastic packaging trade.

Injection moulds for cartridges, tubes and other containers are also a speciality of our designers. 
We manufacture moulds for standard cartridges with 2 to 16 cavities. The cosmetics industry uses tubes made in Hofstetter moulds for lotions, creams and toothpastes. The choice of cavities from 2 to 16 guarantees economical production, while the revolutionary two-chamber system opens up a range of new applications.
