ORION is Ontario’s only provincial research and education network, connecting over 1.7 million individuals – including universities, colleges, hospitals, research institutions, and school boards – through an extensive infrastructure comprised of 6,000 kilometres of dedicated fibre and more than 30 points of presence. As a not-for-profit organization, ORION serves as the backbone of Ontario’s knowledge economy, championing innovation, digital resilience, and inclusion.
