Optos is a medical equipment manufacturer focused on retinal imaging solutions. Its imaging system captures wide-field images of the retina in a single capture, covering about 82% (200 degrees) of the retina, and is used by many independent optometrists as well as eye clinics, including Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and Harvard Medical Center in Massachusetts. The company has integrated wide-field imaging with image-guided OCT to support early detection and management of retinal conditions such as detachments, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. Based in Dunfermline, Scotland, Optos has been a division of Nikon Co. Ltd since 2015.
