Ohio Business Week operates a week-long program in Columbus, Ohio that gives high school students a structured, college-like experience while they practice entrepreneurship through a simulated startup. Participants begin by presenting ideas, then form teams to select one concept and develop a simulated company, including a business plan, financial projections, and a marketing package. The week ends with a tradeshow where teams present their projects to a panel of judges. The program is part of the civic and social organizations sector and targets high school students seeking hands-on entrepreneurial education in Ohio. Since 1989, it has hosted more than 50 camps and reached over 6,500 young adults. The organization is based in Columbus and operates with a small team.
