Northland's NewsCenter is a regional broadcast media producer and distributor based in Duluth, Minnesota. It operates KBJR 6 and KDLH 3, two local television stations with roots dating to 1954, when they launched as WDSM-TV and KDAL-TV in the Duluth–Superior area. A 2004 partnership between Granite Broadcasting and Malara Broadcasting consolidated operations into a single facility, and the Northland's NewsCenter brand emerged from that arrangement to serve viewers in Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin. In addition to the flagship stations, the company runs four other channels in the region: KRII-TV Range 11 in Hibbing, My 9 on digital and cable, Northland CW 2, and Northland's NewsCenter WeatherNow. These outlets deliver a mix of regional programming, local news, and weather content across multiple distribution platforms.
