North Shore Capital is a company that embodies the relationship of its founders.  Two brothers from a tight family, they were college roommates, teammates and are friends.  Their relationship of collaboration and trust transfers on to their partners and employees.
 
From their early days as international ski instructors in Europe and Australia, to the rise of their plastics business in the “silicon forest” of Portland Oregon, the brothers forged a philosophy of successful partnerships, profits and projects.  Heavily invested in Real Estate development, management and sales, their focus is on the finance, development and management of larger projects in the Pacific Northwest.

Starting in 1972, the Nieland family has a long history in Real Estate in the Portland area.  Their parent company North Shore Capital owns or is affiliated with Nieland Homes, North Star Properties, North Star Bend and North Star Multifamily/Commercial.
