The New Jersey Water Supply Authority is a utilities-focused organization based in Clinton, New Jersey. Founded in 1981, it supplies water to roughly two million residents across New Jersey. The organization maintains a small to mid-sized staff footprint and functions as a public water supplier within the state's utility landscape. In October 2022, the authority engaged in a collaborative effort with Raritan Headwaters Association, Rutgers University's Water Resources Program, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, and participating towns to share and collect data on stream and groundwater health. The arrangement underscores its role in coordinating water resource monitoring with academic, regulatory, and local government partners.
