Net Impact is a nonprofit network that mobilizes the next generation to apply their skills and careers toward social and environmental change. It connects students and professionals who aim to be effective change agents, delivering programs from its Oakland headquarters and through hundreds of autonomous chapters worldwide. As a 501(c)(3) organization, it maintains a global network of nearly 300 volunteer-led chapters and a community of more than 100,000 members. The group focuses on empowering its members with leadership development, experience, and professional connections to maximize impact across their careers. In July 2025, Net Impact announced the Community Innovation Challenge, a global case competition that seeks ideas leveraging Cisco's technology to drive social impact and positive business outcomes.
