Music For Montauk is a small performing arts organization based in Montauk, New York, that presents classical music through live concerts. It originated in 1983 as the Montauk Chamber Music Society, which initially performed in private venues and adopted the Music For Montauk name in 1991 as public concerts became a priority, with leadership by music director Fredrick Zlotkin helping bring renowned artists such as Misha Dichter to town. The organization has historically combined high-caliber programming with engagement with the local community.

Ruth Widder led the organization for a period and organized more than 90 free concerts for local residents from Montauk to Watermill. After her passing in 2013, founder Bill Akin handed leadership to Lilah Gosman and Miloš Repický in 2015, giving the group a refreshed artistic direction rooted in Montauk natives. Today, Music For Montauk continues to operate within the performing arts scene in the region, serving local audiences and attracting diverse attendees to classical performances.
