Mobile Medical Response (MMR) is a private, nonprofit organization based in Saginaw, Michigan, that provides medical transportation and pre-hospital care across mid and northern Michigan. It delivers Basic, Advanced, and Critical Care ambulance services, along with wheelchair transport and accredited medical dispatching. Founded in 1994 by Ascension St. Mary’s and Covenant HealthCare to establish an efficient EMS system in Saginaw County, the organization now serves 17 counties with a fleet of more than 120 emergency vehicles and a workforce of over 700. It operates a Community Paramedic Program that offers in-home care, chronic disease monitoring, follow-up visits, and related services intended to reduce emergency department visits and hospital readmissions. In 2020, North Flight merged with MMR, expanding its northern footprint and taking over the Traverse City ambulance contract.
