It also runs educational and vocational programs, such as an alternative school in Ruston and the Allen Career and Vocational Training Center on the home's grounds. Its Foster Care program recruits, trains, and certifies therapeutic foster families through regional offices across Ruston, Monroe, Alexandria, Covington, Shreveport, and Lafayette, and it provides Kinship Navigator services for relative caregivers as well as the Louisiana Foster Care Support Organization to assist foster families statewide.
