Methodist Children's Home is a Louisiana-based provider of mental health services for children and families, with a 124-year history. It offers a broad range of supports across the state, including intensive home-based services delivered to families in their communities, a large network of therapeutic foster homes, and the most intensive residential treatment for children with severe emotional and behavioral needs who cannot remain at home with community-based supports. The organization operates three licensed psychiatric residential treatment facilities in Sulphur, Loranger, and Ruston. It also runs educational and vocational programs, such as an alternative school in Ruston and the Allen Career and Vocational Training Center on the home's grounds.

Its Foster Care program recruits, trains, and certifies therapeutic foster families through regional offices across Ruston, Monroe, Alexandria, Covington, Shreveport, and Lafayette, and it provides Kinship Navigator services for relative caregivers as well as the Louisiana Foster Care Support Organization to assist foster families statewide. In addition, the organization offers experiential services through the Outdoor Wilderness Learning Center and the OWL Equine Center, which provide therapeutic activities for children, including those with developmental disabilities.
