M.Chapoutier is a mid-sized wine producer located in Tain-l'Hermitage in the Rhône Valley, a business with more than 210 years of history. The company focuses on making wines that reflect the natural balance and the terroirs from which they originate. Since 1990, Michel Chapoutier's arrival introduced biodynamic viticulture across its estates, a practice that has become a core principle of its approach. In 2025, the company expanded its vineyard footprint by acquiring two properties in the Victorian Pyrenees, Shays Flat and Landsborough, and established a fully owned Domaine Tournon. The portfolio includes products such as Rouge Clair, released in 2024 as a red wine designed to be served over ice.
