Maui County FCU is a community-based financial services cooperative serving residents of Maui County, Hawaii. The credit union traces its origins to 1937, established to meet the needs of Maui County, State, and Federal government employees and their families. It is the largest credit union on Maui and serves nearly 20,000 members through branches in Kahului, Lahaina, and Wailuku. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, or worships within Maui County, reflecting its local focus. In 2025, Maui County FCU appointed Michele Kawahara as President and CEO, with the appointment taking effect September 1, 2025. The credit union has pursued partnerships to expand financial wellness resources, including collaborations with iGrad in 2022 to offer the Enrich program and with Zogo in 2021.
