The Maryland Building Industry Association is a not-for-profit trade organization in the construction sector, based in Fulton, Maryland. It represents the interests of more than 1,300 member firms and over 100,000 employees, including home builders, remodelers, developers and affiliate professionals and service providers. Its membership covers a broad regional footprint across Maryland counties such as Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Calvert, Carroll, Cecil, Charles, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George's and St. Mary's, as well as Baltimore City, the Eastern Shore and Washington, DC. The MBIA functions as a regional industry association that supports its members through events and related programs in the construction sector. In 2024, its Sales & Marketing Council presented the Maryland Awards of Excellence (MAX+), an industry recognition program. The MBIA maintains its online presence at marylandbuilders.org.
