Maranatha High School started 53 years ago as a small school, but has grown to one of the area’s leading private school options. Located in Pasadena, on the former Ambassador College campus just off the freeway near Old Town, MHS has been voted Pasadena’s Best Private School five years in a row.

Maranatha fills a unique role in the assortment of area private schools as the only non-denominational Christian high school in the San Gabriel Valley. The overall goal of the school is to provide excellent, Christ-centered education across all areas. Maranatha offers a transformational education model with an exceptional educational program that truly transforms not only minds but also hearts, as it prepares students for living lives of purpose and distinction.
