Lorain National Bank is a full-service regional bank serving consumer and business customers with a broad range of products and services. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of LNB Bancorp, Inc., headquartered in Lorain, Ohio, and its deposits are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. The bank is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland and a voluntary member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati. Founded in 1905 as Lorain Banking Company, the bank merged with the National Bank of Lorain in 1961 to form Lorain National Bank and became a wholly owned subsidiary of LNB Bancorp in 1984. In the past year, it expanded its footprint with new offices in North Ridgeville and southern Elyria, as well as a business development office in Independence, and operates alongside the Morgan Bank division with an office in Hudson.
